Livingston Symphony Orchestra is one of the finest regional ensembles in the State of New Jersey.  With roots in suburban Essex County,  the group has been delighting audiences since 1956.Under the skilled direction of internationally acclaimed Conductor Istvan Jaray, Livingston Symphony Orchestra continues to bring together the community of music lovers from far and wide to celebrate the greatest works ever composed.

We would like to congratulate Ashley Park, the winner of the 2011-2012 Young Artists Competition!


Ashley is a 15 year old violin contestant who played beautifully for our competition.  She will be featured as a soloist in our concert on March 24th - Celebrating Youth and Romance.

With rave reviews, the Livingston Symphony Orchestra opens its 55th Season. After being chosen to accompany The Choir of the Pope's Diocese on their First US Tour under the direction of Monsignor Marco Frisina, the orchestra performed with the choir on a 6 venue Tour.  The tour was presented in some of the Tri-State's historic Theaters and Cathedrals, and marked the first collaboration of the Orchestra and Choir in the US.  The 6 Venues included The Patriots Theater, Trenton, NJ;  St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City, The Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, NJ; The Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Newark, NJ; The Palace Theater, Stamford, CT; and Regina Pacis Church in Brooklyn, NY
