The Livingston Symphony Orchestra is one of the finest regional ensembles in the State of New Jersey.  With roots in suburban Essex County, the group has been delighting audiences since 1956. Livingston Symphony Orchestra continues to bring together the community of music lovers from far and wide to celebrate the greatest works ever composed.

Current Events

Next Rehearsal: Tuesday, April 21st at 7:30PM. Location is the Orchestra room at Livingston High School, 30 Robert Harp Dr, Livingston NJ. This will be our fifth rehearsal with guest conductor Anthony LaGruth, all musicians are asked to attend. We only have a handful of rehearsals left, so every one counts.

LSO 2014-2015 Concert Season

This will be a year of big changes for the Livingston Symphony Orchestra, as our Conductor of 30 years, Maestro Istvan Jaray, stepped-down as our Conductor and Musical Director at the end of the 2013-2014 season. We will be having a series of 5 guest conductors while we search for the conductor who will best fit the needs of the LSO.

Musicians Needed!

LSO is currently looking for more musicians to join us, particularly in the string section. Violin and Violas especially are needed, though any string players are welcome.
